Over the last few weeks and months there has been a lot of progress on the software development front here at BizGreet – and we’re eager to share some of the progress and big changes we’ve made. Below you will find a brief list of the highlights of what we have done to make BizGreet better cater to our customers’ needs for traceable, personalized web video:
BizGreet v1.3 is live
We have just released BizGreet v1.3 for use with our customer campaigns, offering some much-requested features that will improve campaign reach and reporting:
- Improved scalability: Initially conceived as a Business-to-Business contact platform, the expected campaign size for a personalized video campaign was traditionally around 2-5k leads. However, over the last months we’ve seen this average number rise dramatically. With increasing demand for BizGreet on the B2C front, we have now built-in support for campaigns exceeding 500,000 leads (and can make special provisions for campaigns with millions of contacts).
- Improved reporting and metrics: Business Intelligence is a big part of what makes BizGreet so valuable – not only delivering a personalized video message to a potential customer, but also being able to pin-point who watched, how often, and from where; knowing who is a “hot” lead gives your sales teams the edge. To make this business intelligence even more valuable to you, we have improved the tools to run campaign reports in v1.3.
- Tell-A-Friend out of the box: We’ve seen some great results with our “Tell-A-Friend” feature to give a video campaign some viral “spin” and increase the reach of your messages dramatically. With the new version of BizGreet this feature is now easily enabled with the click of a button, allowing your message to reach an even broader audience.
In addition to these big additions, we’ve also got a laundry list of minor changes and improvements (from easier remote mail server integration to more efficient video management) that we won’t all list here, but watch this space – in a few days we’ll allow you to take the latest BizGreet for a test drive right here on the website.
BizGreet v2 in Alpha testing
Last week we’ve also released the next generation of our platform for internal Alpha testing. Built on the Ruby on Rails platform and making use of modern cloud technologies from the Amazon Web Services to automated Geolocation, this release is slated to bring an unprecedented level of control over the personalized video stream to our customers. We won’t give away too much of the news just yet, but let’s just say you’ll love what you will be able to do.
We expect a Reseller-Beta of this version to be available in early March with official RTW in Q2/2010.
