Mat Harris – CEO

mbh-profile-img2Early in his career, Mat served as the VP of Operations for a publicly-traded technology incubator, from 1997 to 1999. He has earned valuable leadership experience in strategy, sales, branding and marketing communications through positions with Performance Food Group, Advanced Micro Devices and in his many startup ventures. Over the years, Mat has developed a strong marketing background, both strategic and creative, with deep knowledge of marketing strategy development and implementation as well as marketing communications, sales and advertising.

He founded Good Goliath, LLC in 2007, a marketing firm dedicated to strategy, business development, and creative communications. In mid-2008, he envisioned leveraging personalized video to enhance the business development activities at Good Goliath.  Mark Peters took the opportunity to leverage his considerable software design experience to make this vision a reality.  Mat earned an MBA from Baylor University in 2001, and a BBA in marketing and broadcasting from Baylor in 1996.

Mark PetersMark has been leading the software design and implementation process for BizGreet™ from the early idea to the finished product and the latest updates. Before the development of BizGreet, Mark worked for Microsoft as Program Manager in the Office Division in Redmond, WA, and as International Product Manager in the European Development Center in Dublin, Ireland.

Mark received his MBA in International Management and E-commerce from Baylor University in 2001, graduating at the top of his class, following an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Cologne in 1999. Mark has gathered previous start-up experiences in his work as a founding member of career@work (Cologne, Germany) a student consulting HR team that conducted large-scale surveys for a major German business Magazine (DM/Euro), and at Cygnus Development Group – a university-focused business incubator in Waco, TX that he and Mat Harris started together while earning their MBAs in 2000.

Steve Pittenger – Lead Developer

Steve-PittengerSteve received his degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Seattle in 1995, and was an advanced electronics systems engineer and satellite network communications engineer for the US Navy. In 2004 he decided to take his part-time web development company Pure Altar fulltime and has since served over 300 customers around the world. Pure Altar specializes in the development of E-commerce, intranet, and marketing applications.

In late 2008 Steve joined the BizGreet™ team as the initial developer for version 1.0 and has been the leading developer for ongoing BizGreet operations and new feature additions since.
